
Andaman

Permits

Foreigners
need a special permit to visit the Andaman & Nicobar islands. They need
to apply at least six weeks in advance of their proposed visit either to The
Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi or to
their nearest Indian Embassy.
Best Season to Visit
The south-west monsoon arrive the Andaman & Nicobar islands between May
and October and the north-east monsoon between November and January. The
best season to visit Andaman & Nicobar island is between November and
May.
Beach Activities
Andaman & Nicobar Beaches are perfect destination for those who love
watching marine life. On the beaches of Andaman & Nicobar you can see
the variety of turtles such as - Olive Ridley turtle, Leather Back turtle
and Hawksbill turtle. You can enjoy various water sports like yatching and
scuba diving.

Day 01:
Arrival at Port Blair to be welcomed by refreshing tender coconut and then catch up with some lost sleep due to early morning mainland India. In the afternoon, we proceed for harbour cruise which will take us to Viper Island a prison island. The gallows atop a hillock here, is sight to watch. In the evening we attend sound and light show at Cellular Jail.
Day 02:
After breakfast, we set out for city tour covering Asia's one of the oldest and largest sawmill at Chatam Island, Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Marine Museum, Cottage Industry Emporium and Cellular Jail.
Day 03:
After breakfast, a visit across the harbour takes us to Ross Island. From here Britishers governed this land. We see the ruins of bygone days in the afternoon. We shall see Japanese bunkers and then Hamfreygunj memorial which stands as a mute testimony to killings of islanders by the Japanese occupation forces during world war II.
Day 04:
Free day at leisure on beach.
Day 05:
Departure transfer to Airport for flights to onward Destination.
